OUR CLASSES WILL BOWL YOU OVER!

We provide all the tools and equipment you need to get started at our school and clay is available for purchase as well.

All you need to get going is you...and maybe some coffee.

With a large array of hand building tools and a brand spanking new fancy slab roller, you'll have everything you need to create the masterpiece of your dreams. You'll also have individual attention and guidance on class projects, or your own project ideas, from our talented instructors.

Whether you are an absolute novice or have earned your saddle sores at the wheel, Burque Throwdown will tailor each class to the students enrolled. We keep each class small so you will have individualized attention throughout.

Schedule

We maintain seven days weekly (54 hours per week) of open studio hours for students to come and work on their pieces independently. You can trim your pots, make new ones, glaze your masterpieces or do whatever you need to do to get your projects to completion.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

  • 6 week class $275. Includes a once weekly 3 hour class with access to school during all open studio hours to work independently. Provides one shelf in school for personal tools and work in progress.

  • Studio membership (for experienced potters). $275/six weeks and access to studio during all open studio hours.

  • Payment is by check, Venmo or credit card only. No cash will be accepted at the school.

  • Students and members must put down a $40 deposit for firing fees unless they plan to fire their wares elsewhere.

  • All tools and equipment provided. Students must purchase own clay (available at the studio or outside suppliers).

  • Firing costs are $3.20/lb. This price includes glazes, of which 30+ are available at the studio.
